I like the compare and contrast resources that were offered, because they offer a variety of opportunities to keep the students engaged.  They are creating a chart to map out the similarities and differences of different objects, which is a highly visual activity.  This assists the ESOL students since they are highly visual learners.  It also allows them the chance to pair with a partner, which would allow my students to bounce ideas off each other.
