Culturally responsive teaching recognizes and honors students' diverse backgrounds, particularly ELLs, by integrating their cultural references into the teaching-learning process. This approach supports language acquisition and enhances students' sense of belonging and identity. We can do many small things that can profoundly affect how students open toward diversity. Incorporating students' cultural backgrounds into lesson plans and classroom activities to create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment. Students are naturally curious about culture, and we can use that to help them connect with people from other cultures. This approach, used in classrooms, create opportunities for students to analyze and critique literary and historical texts from different cultural perspectives.
