I can easily see using the TPR approach, especially during our structured physical activity time during instructional hours. I would invite the students to participate in this scenario:

Me; Join me on the carpet for a fun game! Everyone who participates well and follows my directions will receive a sticker! Now everyone, Touch your head, like me!..."Jump up, like me!...Make a face, like me...touch your toes, like me!" Very Good! Now you are going to listen and follow directions and I'm going to see who is listening like a champ! Clap one time! Clap 2 times! march in place! Put your finger on your lips! Crouch on the floor! Now reach to the sky! give the person next to you a wave! Now give the person on the other side a high 5! Great job! Everyone gets a sticker!
