Mod 5 Video Discussion

One criterion based assessment I would like to create and use is a rubric for writing an argumentative essay. The rubric will be based on the state standards and guidelines for writing an essay for the 5th grade level. The rubric will have the 4 categories required for the state expectations and a couple more for my classroom to make sure they understand what should be included. There will be smaller categories within each section so they know exactly what is needed. They will use the rubric to grade their own essays and then I will also grade using the rubric and will hold writing workshops to go over the grades given.
