Mod 1 Video Discussion

The teaching in the video is a newer (to me at least) approach to engaging students and helping them learn a new language. Using a physical response to the new language can help students understand and practice with the language. This is something I can do in my classroom with new words. Practicing verbs in the classroom will help my ESOL students learn and keep them and the other students engaged. I use gestures a lot in my classroom which has been helpful to the students learning and remembering new words and ideas. I might try to incorporate more movement in the classroom as well.
