You are on a curriculum committee, and need to screen for curriculum and assessments that will meet the following criteria:

  • Do barriers exist in students’ mainstream dominant culture?
  • What cultural events will take place during the 2024-2025 school year?
  • Are accommodations provided for culturally appropriate behaviors in the classroom?
  • Are languages, artifacts, examples, and community resources relevant to students’ culture to validate student heritage?
