As a first year teacher, I did a workshop with Kagan Cooperative Learning and learned about many methods of cooperative learning and how they can benefit students. One of those methods was the Think-Pair-Share. I find this is an effective way to get students to learn content and helps them better understand it by teaching it to others. I appreciated the way the teacher used this method to help students learn vocabulary, as it takes the pressure off of one single student and allows them to get support from their peers.
