Mod 5 Video Discussion

Criterion based assessments to measure knowledge of main ideas & supporting details.  Students have worked on main ideas & supporting details for a few days but there is still a disconnect with understanding supporting details. If given enough time, all students should achieve the standards. 

The interim data that I'm using guides instruction & intervention decisions. The passage will now be broken down into sections. The students will go through sections and underline 1 main idea & 4 supporting details of "The Ancient Stories of Gemini".  They no longer have to guess how many supporting details they will look for because I listed how many supporting details are in every paragraph. I also read the main idea and gave hints as to what supports the main idea.
