I would have the parents work with word cards/flash cards and create word walls at home. Also maybe listen to songs on youtube. In addition, sites like Starfall and Teach Your Monster help kids learn letter and word sounds. Apps such as Epic and Khan Academy Kids would help with literacy because they have 1000s of audiobooks.
