Students will analyze news articles, focusing on main ideas, supporting details, author perspectives, and credibility assessment. To track progress, I'll have them independently analyze a recent news article, submitting a written analysis addressing these criteria. This ongoing assessment will help me adjust instruction as needed throughout the school year.
