If a child is comfortable in their learning environment, I believe the will be better suited to succeed. So, I believe the student should build be built up socially to gain better mastery over new vocabulary. If the scholar feels safe in their environment of learning they will perform more effectively. I would encourage partnerships between ELL students in the classroom that speak the same language as other students but have a stronger grasp of the English language.
