There is a need to refrain from correcting students to avoid affecting the students confidence. As long as the student is comprehending there is no need to always correct their nouns. According to the text it states, "It is important to keep in mind that there is a natural progression of mastering the grammatical intricacies and ELLs in the early stages of learning will make grammatical errors that do not affect understanding".  The correction should be done in a natural way. For example, during center time allow students to make corrections using an answer key after they have completed the task. This way it is done in a positive reinforcing way.
