Mod 10 Video Discussion

In the video the teacher explained instruction and practice with reading words “ow’. She gave samples of the words for the students to practice using the correct sound. She gave them correct and incorrect examples for students to differentiate the two. I would like to use the same approach in my classroom, but I would verify the student's foundation of the meaning of the words in oral language before having them write it out.
