Mod 10 Video Discussion

Phonics and Phonological learning is something that's come up in my pedagogy studies over the years but is something I've implemented only here and there. I primarily teach 10th-11th graders in high school, many of whom have most of their pholological awareness down. I do however use these techniques even when speaking with student who no longer have ELL status as they grew up with their ELA classes having more of a focus on that (as opposed to my core class).
