Is the classroom inviting and considered a good learning environment,l.e.,  is the aroma in the classroom inviting and conducive to promote learning? Did the teacher incorporate music to stimulate learning? 

What technical tools are being used to keep student interest,l.e., smartboards, laptops with access to the internet for student research.

Are there displays to student work to promote positive attitudes toward learning and high level achievement? 

Are ELL's and IEP criteria being utilized to promote engagement?  

Are students conversing and sharing information to promote higher order thinking skills among peers?

Is differentiated learning techniques being utilized?  scaffolding techniques for struggling learners?
