Mod 8 Video Discussion

The strategies used by the teachers in these videos I have been using and found extremely beneficial in assisting students in their reading skills.  

The close reading strategy, anchor charts, vocabulary strengthening skills, peer-to-peer conversations, chunking of information, and students determining the "gist" of the story all help students in their comprehension.
