The language acquisition theory depicted in this scenario is the Brain-Based Theory.  The instruction that would be most beneficial would be the use of illustrations with labels, front-loading lessons with vocabulary and concepts with pictures and video clips.  Involving classmates to locate illustrations and videos would assist in both increasing a sense of community as well as increasing the knowledge of the non-ELL students.
