For  implication 1 it means that elementary schools with dual language programs are more beneficial to the success of ELL students.  Makes me wonder why more schools with dual language programs are not available at schools with high populations of ELL students.

For implication 2 it adds to my understanding of the benefits to ELL students when teachers are informed of instructional best practices for teaching ELL students.

For implication 3 it help me understand that language learning is important in not only with learning to read and write, but also to learn concepts and vocabulary of content area subjects.

For implication 4 it means that ELL students need support for however long it takes.  Students have varying rates of progress in acquiring a second language, just as non-ELL students have varying rates of progress in acquiring their first language.
