Scenario Response No. 7
Module 17 Scenario Response
I would definitely keep my groups small, with creativity, endurance, and cognitive ability considered when grouping. I would also be sure to circulate during small group activity frequently, stopping in at each group to check in during work time to perform informal formative assessments to keep a running tab of how my students are doing and where some students could potentially benefit from being moved to a different group. I would also be sure to change the criteria for the peer leader as groups and activities change in order to ensure that all students get a chance to practice a leadership role. Activities would be flexible so that assignments could be paced according to each group's needs as well.
