Mod 10 Video Discussion

I really liked that she created a simple rule for students to follow based on the typical phoneme created by the letters "ow".  I think that creating easy to follow rules for students can really help them when they're reading and sounding out a text independently.  I also like how there was built in practice that she was able to model for her students during the lesson and then she also encouraged her students to go back to the original rule once they had moved on to the new word.
