I was actually really interested in the Interactive Reading Guide scaffolding strategy.  I think having the prompts laid out for students to guide them in their reading would be extremely beneficial for students, especially struggling readers.  Based on the description, it seemed almost like a more advanced graphic organizer, so for students who are still struggling, I could differentiate the strategy by providing graphic organizers with the prompts in order for students to record their thinking as they're reading in a more meaningful way.  I would use this mostly with ELA, but it would also be extremely effective in science due to the heavy use of reading material and difficult concepts.
