Mod 8 Video Discussion

As a Adapted Physical Education Teacher, much of the "reading" "writing" with respect to ELLs looks and feels much different than a typical classroom set-up.  I utilize a picture to word system and integrate the use of augmented communication (Ipads/language apps) as well as visual schedules, word walls, simple text/instructional cards or audio/video imaging/movement videos with language sequencing.  I try to allow students to read/write/communicate in as many platforms as possible, as well as see/hear language in multiple platforms as well to aid in the learning process.  I will integrate books/read alouds into my classes/sessions when appropriate.
