  • 90-minute literacy block for grade 1: Mini lesson on phonics, Repeated readings, and working on a graphic organizer. 
  • 90-minute literacy block for grade 3: Repeated readings, working on summarizing a text and working on a graphic organizer
  • 60-minute literacy block for grade 6: We would activate prior background knowledge before jumping into our whole group reading lesson. Next, a close read and we would finish with an exit ticket.
