Mod 11 Discussion: Teaching Critical Literacy

I chose the comparing object assignment to use with my kindergarten students. Students are familiar with comparing things based on their attributes in math. We also use t-charts to compare characters and/or their experiences from one or two texts. I usually begin any comparing/contrast activity with the students. comparing themselves to their peers.
