I provide rubrics for the projects my students do in school. We go over the rubric before starting the project so they know exactly what they will be graded on. I always set a goal for the day when completing projects so that my students know what is expected of them and if they get behind they are aware. I monitor their progress by having check ins with my students. I will refer back to the rubric if I see something is missing to point it out to them that I notice you should have this but I am not seeing it in your project. I think having clear expectations and something they can physically go back to make sure they are completing every part is important. We also work on being good listeners and how to give positive feedback to their peers.
