Module 3 Discussion: Moving Students Into a New Culture

I visited Paris, France and initially the people and culture did take a little getting used. They were different in how they talked, interacted, drove a car, how you ordered food, etc.). It took a few days to adjust to their normal. Not that it was difficult to do just different. So for new students coming into my room this would mean that they would need time to adjust to a new way of doing and experiencing the day.
