Module 7: Strategy Reflection

Difficult to select one. I have incorporated the, GIVE TIME TO TALK, this one is difficult for my high fliers. As I wait to provide ample time for a student to gather their thoughts, my advanced students have to constantly be reminded that we respectfully wait. I do allow for the students that are being waited on to occasionally take a pass.

Another strategy that I repletely use is TAP INTO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE.  Students bring a collection of knowledge to our classroom, by tapping into it, they are being set up to be more comfortable with the topic/task.
