Module 6 Discussion: Language and Learning

Since I teach Math, my strategies would need to be more into teaching vocabulary.  I like the TPR strategy, as it can take on two forms.  When I first introduce the vocabulary word, I would say the term and the meaning, and then ask the students to draw an example.  Since vocabulary is a part of our every day, each day would be different.  I might say the meaning of the word, and then play "4 corners"to choose the actual vocabulary word.  Of course, this would come in time, but there are so many ways to introduce vocabulary and the context of how it should be used.
