I would give my students a project that requires them to give instructions on "how to" do something. They would focus on giving clear instructions and directions on a step by step process or routine.

the feedback i would use :

"That is a interesting idea, not quite what I was looking for"

"Did you think about"

"Hmm , I am looking for a different answer"
