Module 1: Goals for This Course and Thoughts About Article

Some goals I want to work on this year:

1. Culturally responsive language
2. Learning and pronouncing all names;
3. Talk about students in more humanizing ways.

Though it seems in FL we're moving more towards, "racial neutrality" we're doing students a disservice by glossing over their culture, their race, and their heritage - the very things that make them fascinating human beings!
