Whole Class:

     Reading: Students will read short passages and then answer questions about the text, to be able to give them immediate feedback as to their progress.

     Writing: Students should be writing on their own, feedback from the teacher should be provided without criticism

Buddies:

Read: Students should read to each other, buddies should be paired up with similar reading ablities.

Writing: Students should write individually but the buddy should read it and discuss with each other. Again students should be paired up with similar abilities.

Small groups:

Reading:  Students should take turns reading aloud, and be grouped according to ablity, students should be correcting reading student.

Writing: Students should work independently on writing assignments and be read and discussed in the group of similar ablities.

Individual: Student should be allowed to read assignment independently and then quesitoned by the teacher about what was read. Teacher will guide student to correct conclusions.

writing:  student will write independently and teacher will read and ask questions to guide student to correct conclusion.
