Module 14 Discussion: What Has Changed?

I feel that the aspect of high quality language instruction that has changed the most since 1995 is technology.  With the advances in technology we are able to provide our language learners more personalized, adaptive learning via ipads and/or laptops rather than a one size fits all type approach.  Furthermore, technology advances allow the teachers to access a multitude of resources to use with their students.  One thing that I feel has remained the same is cooperative learning.  This has always been a “thing” but today it is focused on a bit more.  It seems that many classrooms are moving from less whole group instruction to more small group instruction and cooperative learning types of lessons and activities.  We have always utilized cooperative learning but it seems to be more prevalent today.
