Module 2 Discussion: Theories of Language Learning

This theory made sense to me in how language acquisition evolves naturally, and should be done gradually in a safe environment. It makes sense that students will begin to correct their own errors, and naturally adopt correct grammar through ongoing communication. I can also see in my own practice how students may be perceived to know more English language than they do, because they have rapidly acquired basic interpersonal communication skills, but are still lagging in cognitive academic skills.
