Module 1: Goals for This Course and Thoughts About Article

This was a tough article to read because I realize how easily teachers fall into inadvertently valuing whiteness. I am committing to three goals: commit to reading and learning about culturally responsive teaching. Ask questions, listen and respond accordingly before deciding what to teach. And third, taking time to learn students' names and pronounce them correctly.
