TPR Response
I use TPR to get students learning and understanding vocabulary. For solid, they press their fists together and pound their feet by syllable as they say solid. For liquid, they intertwine fingers and roll their hands and arms up and down. They stomp softer by syllable as they say liquid. For gas, they twinkle their hands and say gas (no stomping). I think to change it up, the students could partner. One does the hand movements and the other does the feet stomp/words.
