Module 1: Goals for This Course and Thoughts About Article

Goal 1: To be able to assist my students in becoming proficient in their use of the English language.

Goal 2: To have gained at least 5 resources that I can use to support my students.

Race is such a sensitive topic and we have to be very intentional on how we approach it.  But I do think we all need to do a personal inventory and make sure we are not behaving the ways suggested in the article.  We must acknowledge every student for their individuality, their cultural differences, and personalities.
