Module 14 Discussion: What Has Changed?

High quality language instruction has shifted from traditional teacher- centered, fact memorization, and drill and practice to an engaged learning environment that is interactive, collaborative, and project based while incorporating technology and manipulatives. In addition, the curriculum now emphasizes more natural connections through real life experiences and connections to other subjects making it a more thematic approach. I really did not notice much that has remained the same with the exception that the teacher plays a significant role in the outcome of the educational process.
