In preparation for those students with divergent cultural beliefs I would begin to prepare my teachers for these students with knowledge of the cultural beliefs. I would begin to build teachers cultural competence and begin providing professional development on culturally responsive teaching. I would then provide the teachers with strategies that they can use to help meet the needs of the students.
