Language has always been an important component of education. Back in the day, however, teaching language was limited. They did not have the knowledge and resources that are available today to reach every student. Today, Language is taught to better prepare students access to higher education and even more so for the the ELL students. This instruction creates social, emotional, and academic success. We now realize how important integration is of school, family, and community. We take into account ALL cultures and teach in ways that all students can be successful.
