Module 4 Discussion: Home Language Survey

Based on experience, I would ask if there was another language being spoken at home, does the student speak one/both languages at home, and what do the parents speak at home. Also, how much English does the parent have the student speak at home. Parents who do not encourage or speak English at home make it more difficult for the student when trying to learn at school. Students should be exposed to as much English as possible.
