Respond to the following scenario:

Your new students have various cultural backgrounds. They are also in many different stages of language development, some on grade level, others well below. You want to group them to achieve the following objectives:

      • Students will be able to be sensitive to the needs of other students.
      • Students will learn to work cooperative with all students for the entire school year.
      • Students will be able to handle jigsawing groups to experience a variety of peer feedback throughout the year.
      • Students will advance language proficiencies by working cooperatively as mentors and mentees.
