Mod 5 Discussion: Formal and Informal Assessments

One formative assessment I have used with success is giving students feedback while they are working. I think it worked well because students got a chance to see what they did well and what they could improve before they finished.

One approach from this module that I would like to use more is rubrics. I think rubrics can be helpful because students can understand what is expected from them and check their own work and it can make the task feel clearer and help them feel more confident about their learning.
