Reflection on Assignment 2

Planning for instruction took the most thought. Engagement is a huge part of all the students to feel comfortable in their learning. Using interactive pair work and think-pair-share activities to give students the opportunity to explain to others their reasoning a problem-solving process. What was challenging is finding what differentiating approaches to take for ELL. Matching pictures to details or draw the main idea, select main idea from choices or sentence frames. Going through each module and being able to dissect and analyze them really put into perspective of how important it is that we use all components of reading and writing and how important it is to relate it across genres with the use of strategies, interventions and differentiation.
