Mod 11 Discussion: Teaching Critical Literacy

Synthesizing is an incredibly important strategy for students to practice and understand.  Synthesizing is the ability to compile knowledge and information to form a new perspective or to form a cohesive hole. In class, when teaching a lesson, I often will reiterate our class content to our everyday life in hopes that it will enhance student understanding.
