Reflection on Assignment 1

I selected infection control as the topic for my lesson planning. A major priority during the planning process was ensuring that all instructional components aligned with the Florida Healthcare Competencies. The area that I really thought of was identifying potential learning gaps and determining how to effectively address them. The one that is challenging and took me time answering was analyzing and planning for teaching strategies for the specific needs of ELL students particularly in selecting appropriate accommodation that would support them in learning health science and language acquisition. I am slowly applying what I learned in the previous modules, and I am glad that I can apply it in my work.
