Another assessment technique I found effective was the exit ticket. This allowed me to quickly identify who had grasped the concepts taught and who might need additional help before we proceed further. I particularly enjoyed how the students did not feel pressured in providing their feedback and were able to contribute freely to their learning journey.
Another strategy from this module that I intend to apply in my lessons is think-pair-share. I love this strategy because it allows students to first process their thoughts before voicing them out, especially beneficial for English language learners and shy students. This strategy also enables students to practice using academic language in discussions.
