According to the brief description, this student would be considered field-dependent.  The respect for the teacher as well as the ability to work well in groups while getting along with others would fair well in this learning environment.  Due to the character of this student, I would have this student in the role as a leader in a group project and maybe even the student who helps with the computer cart.  These tasks will help with confidence as well as giving the student more oppotunity to use communication skills.
