What took the most thought was the differentiating approaches. The use of more exit tickets or self reflections and summaries would greatly benefit the students. My concern for this topic is the timing of it and how it has to be crunched in a way before the state DPMA. The formative assessment is used to help students test their knowledge and allow for me to see where the learning gaps are. I would focus more on the exit tickets and writing before the assessment in the future with the goal being a 90% mastery of the topic instead of the currently 60% that students have demonstrated.
