Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

Of the four ELA Criteria covered, the one that I think is most important for my own goals working with students is "Responding to students' varied needs for instructional support." I feel remarkably confident in my ability, and my teams ability, to align lessons to the appropriate standards, current and changing standards withstanding. I also feel like I have a grasp of assessing students. Where I want to improve the most is how to better differentiate and scaffold content to help teach it initially as well as to remediate for struggling students. This is especially true for my ELL students since they are, well, learning the language.
