Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

I feel that Criteria #3 of the Achieve ELA  criteria for preparing curriculum is the most important facet for my own curriculum goals and in my work with students. Student needs are the base upon which everything else is built. It is essential for creating a fair and balanced learning environment because that is what is going to promote the engagement which is necessary for the success of all learners.
